All You Need to Know: Full Lace Wigs, Lace Front Wigs and Closure Wigs
If you’re suffering from hair loss, alopecia or just simply wanting to change your look, lace wigs provide an excellent solution to look natural; however, if you're new to the world of wigs, it can be a little confusing trying to figure out all the different types available.

Full Lace Wig
Lace: Front and back
Perimeter: Full
Full Lace Wigs when worn covers the full perimeter of your head. Ultimately, you’re going to have the lace around the full cap. You will need to prepare your hair in a high ponytail in order to wear it.
When you wear a full lace wig, you will have the most natural looking hair.
If you're going on vacation and want to wear it for an extended period of time, you're going to need some sort of tape or a liquid adhesive like the Melt Me Down Spray.
Installation: I highly recommend that you ask a professional to install the wig properly for you to get the best result. If there are some sort of touch ups, you may be able to do it yourself.
Lace Front Wig
Lace: Front half only
Perimeter: Ear to Ear
Lace Front Wigs only have lace in the front half of the wig and then the rest is going to be adjustable straps. You will need to tie your hair in a low ponytail before installing the wig.
Sometimes a regular standard size of this type can’t fit a small head but it is available in different sizes. Keep in mind that each company is different so it is best to send them an email to ask a question.
This is good for those with natural or who are growing their hair out.
Since lace front wigs most of the time have cores in them and they have adjustable straps at the nape. Plus, an Elastic Hair Line Wrap Band which makes this the second most natural and easier wig to apply.
Installation: You can ask a professional to install it or you can install it yourself. If you are feeling a little afraid because you're new to wigs, I would suggest that you try the lace front wig since you only have to do the front hair.
Closure Wig
Lace: Left to right
Perimeter: Ear to Ear
Closure Wigs also called the ‘Momma Wig’. If you have so much on your plate and just want to throw on a wig, this is the wig you should go for.
In order to wear this you will need to tie your hair in a low ponytail.
Closure wigs are the easiest wig to put on.
Installation: You can do it yourself. No need to use a tape or liquid adhesive to install the wig.
